Stand-Alone Program (Windows)

Stand Alone Program in Windows

For the Windows (stand alone) program shown above, the filter is applied to the contents of the red box. See how the girl's eye and nose are sharpened.

It's easy to refocus an image. Focus Magic auto-detects the blur width when you open the image. Select the filter on the toolbar, and try different blur widths on different parts of the image until you have the optimum setting. Then press the green traffic light button to focus the whole image.

Photoshop Plug-in (Windows)

Plug-In for Windows

It's easy to focus a photo. Focus Magic auto-detects the blur width when you open the plug-in. You then select the "Image Source" (or "Unknown" if you don't know), and test your settings on different parts of the image. The "Amount" is normally left at "100%" and "Remove Noise" is normally left at "Auto". When you are happy with the settings, click on "OK" to focus the entire image.

Photoshop Plug-in (Mac OS X)

Plug-In for Mac OS X

The Photoshop Plug-in for the Mac is functionally the same as the Windows Photoshop plug-in.

As with Windows, it's easy to focus a photo.
