Focus Magic Screenshots

Click on any of the tabs below to see how Focus Magic looks as a stand-alone program (for Windows) and as a plugin for both Windows and Mac.

Windows Program

For the Windows (stand alone) program shown here, the filter is applied to the contents of the red box.  See how the girl’s eye and nose are sharpened?

It’s easy to refocus an image. Focus Magic auto-detects the blur width when you open the image.  Select the filter on the toolbar, and try different blur widths on different parts of the image until you have the optimum setting.  Then press the green traffic light button to focus the whole image.

"Focus Magic is a remarkable piece of software. It's an honest-to-God real sharpening algorithm that works as a stand-alone program or a Photoshop plug-in. I'll spare you the math about how it works. What's important is that this is not a mere edge-enhancement routine like most so-called sharpening filters; this one actually undoes the blur."
